A summary of JJ Couey's perspective for laypeople

My BS degree in Biology, minor in chemistry and 20+ year PT career in health care didn’t save me from feeling a little punch drunk by the complex informational landscape during the first two years of the covid viral outbreak. After reading & watching hundreds of hours of content, JJ Couey’s perspective on the basic biology has settled my soul.

If coronaviruses can’t cause world-wide pandemics because they change too much when they replicate, then what the heck happened? He read through the scientific literature and discovered the wide use of viral clones - and now weaves disparate threads of experiences together; doctors & unusual new symptoms, microbiologists & PCRs, the shaky evidence of virology, and certainly my own experience.

Throughout 2020-2021, I could at least do basic math and divide the number of people sadly dying of covid by the total population… and see this outbreak had the death rate of the flu from start to finish. Yes there were some hot spots, but the basic math kept coming out the same - death rate of the flu - no matter the story screeching on the news.

JJ Couey’s perspective is the most important for people to understand in my estimation. Knowing the basic biology not only gives us a clear vision of the past 3 years in the rear view mirror, it gives us clear guidance for the future. We can stand firmly on scientific and principled ground in the years to come. Without understanding the difference between real biological risks and fake ones, there can be no informed consent for pharmaceutical products, and no informed decisions about our rights as citizens.
